LOCKPORT, N.Y. — — First Products, a U.S.-based manufacturer of custom mobile medical carts and technology mounting solutions, has partnered with medical device company ASP Health, Inc. to bring a new point-of-care cancer diagnostics workstation from concept into prospective customers’ hands in under seven months. The initial units enabled ASP Health to validate and build market awareness through real-world feedback before scaling.
ASP Health’s ROSE (Rapid On-Site Evaluation) is a point-of-care diagnostic method used during Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) or biopsy procedures. From ASP Health’s perspective, they wanted a true end-to-end solution platform to host their ROSE Prep™ and ROSE View™ solutions together in a compact mobile workstation.
The result was the ROSE Mobile™ Workstation, a unit that is easy to maneuver, simple to power, and built for the realities of a point-of-care clinical workflow for doctors and technicians busy with slide preparation, staining, and digital visualization.
